Description
A Real Crop
Tokyo White is cut to sit at the waistband and stay there. Raise your arms, reach for a bag, sit down in it. The hem doesn’t crawl up the way a regular tee does when you’ve been tucking and untucking all day. The white is bright and even. No yellow tint, no grey tint, no pigment that shifts after a couple of washes. Crew neck at standard width, sleeves at standard length. The only thing different about this tee is where it ends.
The Fabric
Mid-weight cotton with real body to it. Thick enough that nothing shows through in direct sunlight, soft enough that it doesn’t feel stiff on the first wear. The collar holds its shape after a wash instead of stretching loose, and the shoulder seams stay on your shoulders instead of sliding down the arm. Cold wash, air dry when you can, skip the dryer for the first few rotations. That’s what keeps the white white.
How To Wear It
The crop length was drafted around baggy bottoms. Tuck it if you want, but the hem already lands where a tuck would sit, so most days there’s no point. Pairs cleanly with any of the Sin baggy denim, especially the dark washes and solid black. A silver chain and white sneakers is the obvious pairing.
