Description
The Cut
Regular fit, cut clean. The shoulder seam lands on your shoulder instead of halfway down your arm, the sleeves end mid-bicep, and the body falls straight without pulling at the chest or bunching at the waist. The hem sits just past the belt line, long enough to tuck, short enough to leave out. Standard crew neck. No branding, no pocket, no graphic. It is a white tee that is trying to be a white tee and nothing else.
The Fabric
Mid-weight cotton with real body to it. Thick enough that nothing shows through in direct sunlight, which is the whole problem with cheap white tees, and soft enough that it doesn’t feel stiff on the first wear. The white is bright and even. No yellow tint, no grey tint, no pigment that shifts after a couple of washes. The collar holds its shape instead of stretching loose. Cold wash, air dry when you can, skip the dryer for the first few rotations. That is what keeps the white white.
How To Wear It
This is the base layer for everything. Straight with any of the Sin baggy denim, dark washes especially, where the contrast does the work for you. On its own with white sneakers and a silver chain when you want the outfit to be the fit and not the pieces. Under an open shirt or a jacket when it turns cooler. Buy two, because you will wear one more than you plan to.
